Save Soil

You can eat food for a day. You cannot eat soil. Once it is gone, it is gone.

Everything I do connects to this

Yemen has miserable soil. That is not a metaphor — it is a farming problem, and it is also a peace problem. Support the farmers there and they become independent. Not dependents. Independent. And there is no cleaner example of peace than a person who can feed themselves.

Soil Sunday

My wish is that it becomes a movement: that every Sunday, everywhere, people are moving forward. It starts wherever you already are, with the people already around you. You do not need permission to begin, and you do not need to travel to meet us.

You are the movement. If you are the movement, you have to move.
On Soil Sunday

One thing you can do today

Sponsor a runner

We sponsor the entry fee of people who run for soil. You are the reason a stranger can afford to take part.

No account, no commitment. Just a first step — and you can change it later.

What your support does

Feed a family in Yemen

Yemeni soil is exhausted. Supporting the farmers there is what makes them independent — not charity, but the means to stand on their own.

Keep the story visible

The Yemen journey became 44 paintings and a film. Visibility is the mechanism — a bigger exhibition means more reach, and more reach means more support for the ground work.

Finish the trailer

Nine people are living out of a self-built trailer on the road. Solar, provisions and equipment are what turn a plan into a journey.

Figures are placeholders until the programme is costed. We will publish the real numbers before we ask for money again.
